Plot: A MIT senior is about to graduate and go on to Harvard Medical School. The cost to go is over $300,000 and he is looking to get a scholarship, but it is not looking good. After wowing one of his professors with his intelligence, he gets a visit from one of the students. He is taken to a meeting where the professor and some other students explain the scheme to count cards while playing Blackjack and winning lots of money in Las Vegas. Does he join them and make enough money to pay for Harvard Medical School?
Extra thoughts: 21 is an all right movie. It has its true elements of some MIT students who actually pulled together and won lots of money in Vegas. The acting was up to par and the writing was okay. The editing could have been better. Being a movie geared for the under 20 crowd, I feel they dumbed it down to help make it more accessible. Overall, it was entertaining so I say see it.
