Plot: A mild-mannered boy is dropped at an orphanage and throughout the years he comes best friends with Kate. But Kate gets adopted and Norbit is left alone. Due to his meek disposition, Norbit is picked on until Rasputia claims Norbit as her boyfriend in the schoolyard. Rasputia is a bully as a child and grows up to be the same. Norbit is brow-beaten into marrying Rasputia. Everything is lemons for Norbit until Kate comes back to town to buy the orphanage. But, Rasputia's family wants the orphanage as well to turn it into a nudist bar. How will it end up for Norbit?
Extra thoughts: The writing in this film is weak. It could have taken some direction to make it funnier. I think Eddie Murphy did a good job in the multi-character roles of Mr. Wong, Rasputia, and Norbit. His Norbit character could have been better. Since the writing was weak I really don't recommend you see Norbit so skip it.
