Plot: Johnny Hooker, a small time con man has one of his friends Luther pull a con but the money belongs to Doyle Lonnegan a crime boss. Lonnegan has Luther killed. Now Johnny wants to get even. Johnny and Henry Gondorff team up to pull the perfect con to get revenge on Lonnegan and get a lot of money. The setup is meticulous and thorough to cover every angle and detail. From the baiting of the victim to the exit of this movie it will take you on a fun ride.
Extra thoughts: Paul Newmann, Robert Redford and the rest of the cast did an excellent job. The Sting won an Academy Award for Best Picture and deservedly so. The fantastic ragtime music adds to the personality of this fun movie. You must see it.
