Plot: A poor rancher named Dan Evans who witnessed a stage coach robbery near his ranch is discovered watching by the gang. The Wade gang strands Evans by taking his horses and leave them miles down the road. The Wade gang go to the near by town to split up the take. Ben Wade is captured and Evans is recruited by Pinkerton Security to take Wade to the town of Contention to put him on the 3:10 to Yuma train. To assist in bringing Wade to justice means certain death but Evans does it for the money and to show his son he is not a coward.
Extra Thoughts: 3:10 To Yuma is not a bad western. It's pretty good but it still has an unbelievable story line that does not compute and makes you say why? The gun fights are amazing and there are some ruthless bad guys you want to see killed. If you like westerns you will enjoy it. This is a remake of the same title done back in 1957.
