Plot:Two boys grow up on the south shore of Boston and they both join the Massachusetts State Police. They both take separate directions morally. Ones intention is to infiltrate the police department on the behest of an Irish crime boss Frank Costello and the other becomes an undercover policeman trying to bring down Frank. They both dodge each other while trying to discover each others identity.
Extra thoughts: Leonardo Dicaprio's performance is the best I have seen from him so far. Jack Nicholson's impression of a rat has been burned into my brain, he did a stellar job of the rat and Frank Costello. This is an exciting nail biter of a movie. I enjoyed it. See it.
