The Reaping

Plot: Katherine a former African missionary who's husband and daughter were killed in the mission field is now out to disprove religious phenomena with science. A school teacher is sent by a small town of Haven, Louisiana to ask Katherine to investigate why the river has turned to blood. The town people are blaming a 12 year old girl for the blood. Will Katherine find an answer to this biblical like occurrence or will more events happen?
Extra thoughts: The Reaping is OK. It relies on sudden loud noises to shake you rather than getting into your head. If your into horror movies this is a guilty pleasure one. The characters are not well developed and the way the film was edited does not help it either. Watch it if you have time to blow. It is not very satisfying.
