Plot: Two skaters, Chazz Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy, are bitter rivals. They tie for the gold in the men's singles competition and while atop the podium they get into a fight and are barred from skating. Down and out, they are informed that they can compete in couples skating and reluctantly decide to skate together. Well, weirdness ensues, but can they win it all?
Extra thoughts: Blades of Glory is on the fence for me. Will Ferrell, Will Arnett, and Amy Poehler help cover this dysfunctional movie with some good comedic performances. Scott Hamilton and Jim Lampley doing the broadcasting sell the sizzle of the ice skating performances and make you crack up. What puts me on the fence are the over the top moments plus the heart string tug moments which border on stupid. This one is almost a see it, but it's getting a so-so review.
