Plot: Edward Cole, a wealthy healthcare baron, and Carter Chambers, an auto mechanic, both share a hospital room after being diagnosed with cancer. Carter comes up with a list of things he wants to do before he dies. It's called a 'bucket list'. Edward finds the list and adds to it. Then they set out to accomplish the things on the list before they both die.
Extra thoughts: Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson do their usual above par performances in the Bucket List. The writing and dialogue are excellent. The Bucket List points out how short life can be and its inevitable end. The Bucket List will make you think. I say see it. You'll enjoy it.
