Plot: Two con artists butt heads in France. Lawrence Jamieson who is well established and entrenched with the local authorities asks Freddy Benson to leave. He is scaring away potential targets. Freddy says no and asks to be taught the suave and debonair way. Finally, Freddy has enough of the apprentice role and challenges Lawrence to defraud Janet Colgate, the soap queen. To see who wins the challenge you’ll have to see it.
Extra thoughts: This movie made me laugh and Steve Martin is at his finest.
