Plot: The movie, based on a true story, begins in Fargo, North Dakota where an unscrupulous car dealership manager is planning the kidnapping of his own wife. He meets up with the kidnappers in Fargo to give them a car to use. They part ways and the kidnapping takes place. Then things start to go wrong.
Fargo has a distinct feel to it and for a drama it doesn’t have that cookie-cutter Hollywood feel.
Extra thoughts: It is a great movie that gives you a feel of the north plains of the Midwest. It has strong language, violence and sexuality.
