Plot: Kent Stock comes to a small town in Iowa to be an assistant coach to legendary coach Jim Van Scoyoc. The Norway, Iowa team has won 19 state championships, but now they find out there school will be closed and this is there final season. The legendary coach is asked to leave the position and Kent Stock is hired to replace him and lead the underdog team to another championship. Can they do it?
Extra thoughts: This is based on a true story and is a pretty good movie. If you like baseball you will enjoy this film. The acting is adequate. If you are from small town America you will empathize with the heavy handed way schools are consolidated. I recommend you see it.
