Plot: A young teenager, Jason, takes on the task to take an ancient kung fu fighting staff back to its rightful owner. When Jason is thrown off the top of an apartment building, he is transported to an ancient Chinese world. There, Jason finds out the staff belongs to the Monkey King.and tries to return it.
Extra thoughts: The Forbidden Kingdom is a well done movie. Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Michael Angarano did a great job with their marshall art skills. The movie is filled with action and plenty of kung fu. The plot is based on an old Chinese story of the Monkey King and was enjoyable. The acting and special effects makes a wiz-bang of an action movie. I say see it.
