Plot: Bick Benedict a cattle ranch owner from Texas goes to Maryland to buy himself a horse. He finds more than a horse. He finds Leslie whom he marries and brings back to the ranch in Texas. There she meets Bick's sister, Luz, who is not so happy about the marriage. She also meets Jett Rink who’s a ranch hand whom Luz is fond of. Luz takes the horse her brother bought for a ride, but the horse throws her and Luz dies. In Luz’s will she leaves Jett a small patch of land; nothing much but it will change his life.
Extra thoughts: This is a long move, but it gives a picture of Texas. Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson do a wonderful job. James Dean is great in this film. This is a classic and a must see. See it
