Gone Baby Gone
Main Actor(s)/Actresses: Casey Afleck, Michelle Monaghan, Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman
Memorable Supporting Cast: Amy Ryan, Madeline O'Brien, and Titus Welliver
Plot: A young girl, Amanda, ends up missing and her concerned uncle and aunt hire private investigators, Patrick and Angie, to help find her. The Boston police are searching as well. The girls mother is not the best parent and thinks of her own wants and needs before her daughter's needs. Patrick and Angie start asking questions that lead to drugs and to the potential kidnapper. But things are not what they seem. So hold on. Watch this film to find out how it ends.
Extra thoughts: Gone Baby Gone is an edgy movie that moves along pretty well. This is Ben Afleck's directorial debut and he did a decent job. His brother, Casey Afleck, held his own with his acting. The casting of Gone Baby Gone was one of my favorite parts of the movie. They made it seem real. Some of the editing could have been better. It has a lot of bad language. I think it would be worth your time to watch it.
