Plot: A cure for cancer using an aggressive virus turns deadly when it causes violent anti-human behavior for those infected. It causes them to feed on those who don't have the virus. Lone survivor, Doctor Robert Neville (Smith), is immune to the virus and is searching for a cure with his companion German Shepard, Sam. Fighting loneliness and isolation, he ventures outside only during daylight hours because the infected skin burns in pain when exposed to sunlight so he knows those infected won't be able to hunt him.
Extra thoughts: I Am Legend is a dark, horror film. This is out of the normal genre of movies in which Will Smith does. He does a wonderful job of acting. I Am Legend will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you're not into scary movies then stay away from this one. I think it is worth seeing.
