Plot: Jeremiah Johnson goes into the mountains to find peace and solitude. During his first winter he nearly starves to death. He is befriended by Bear Claw, a crazy bear hunter who is wise in the ways of the mountains. Johnson finally learns how to live off of the land. He meets various characters that put him in difficult situations. Does he find peace and solitude away from the civil war he left?
Extra thoughts: This is a wonderful movie. It was all filmed in Utah. I highly recommend this movie.
