Plot: Alison Scott gets a promotion to be an on air personality on an entertainment news show. She goes out to celebrate and runs in to Ben Stone at a bar. They sleep together.. Eight weeks later she discovers that she is pregnant and tells Ben. Alison and Ben make the decision to keep the baby and see if they are compatible. He has no job and has not really grown up yet. Will it work out?
Extra thoughts: Knocked Up is a kind of schizophrenic movie. I could not decide who it wanted to please, the guys or the girls because it switches directions so many times. It has a lot of crude humor and cussing. It has some nudity too. I guess the point of the movie is to "grow up". This comedy/drama had a good start and an okay ending, but the middle of the movie was lacking. It was so-so.
