Plot: A promising golfer Rannulph Junuh, goes off to fight in World War I. The war shakes him up and he abandons his golf and his sweetheart Adele Invergordon. Adele's father decides to build a premier gold course in Savannah and during its construction the great depression strikes. While under the great financial constraints her father takes his own life which leaves his daughter in charge of finishing the golf course. When it is finished she decides to host a golf tournament which includes the best players in golf. The Savannah City Council will only let the match go on if there is a local player involved. Rannulph Junuh decides to play, but can he get his game, confidence, and girl back. Watch this film and find out.
