Plot: Olive becomes a finalist in the Little Miss Sunshine contest in California. So, she and her dysfunctional family have to make the trek from New Mexico in their old VW Microbus. There are many misadventures along the way. Then Olive's performance during talent portion of the beauty pageant really leaves its mark on everyone. Will she be able to win it all?
Extra thoughts: In Little Miss Sunshine the main scope of the movie is dreams. Seeing dreams come true, dreams dashed and obliterated, or having your nose rubbed in your dreams. The acting was great. The casting and plot were excellent. It's an entertaining comedy. I say see it.
