Plot: David lost his wife whose dream was to adopt. So, he decides to follow her dream. He adopts a young boy, Dennis, with emotional and trust issues who "runs" from the real world through his imagination and believes he is from Mars. David isn't sure he is being a good parent, but tries to help Dennis live a normal life. But, will he be able to do it all?
Extra thoughts: This was a so-so film. I liked that the plot was something different than the run of the mill romance or action film, but it seemed to drag on a bit and then suddenly resolved itself and ended. I feel there could have been more. It was easy to watch and some might enjoy it if you like movies about children/adoption.
