The Mirror Has Two Faces See It

Main Actor(s)/Actresses: Barbra Streisand and Jeff Bridges

Memorable supporting cast: Lauren Bacall, Pierce Brosnan, George Segal, Mimi Rogers, and Brenda Vacaro

Plot: Rose (Streisand) is a homely, hopeless romantic trying to find love. Gregory (Bridges) is a math professor who has been hurt in the past and is now looking for a non-physical relationship/companionship. Through a personal ad place by Rose's sister, the two meet and become friends. They finally decide to have a marriage based on intellect and not on sexual passion. As time passes, Rose finds she wants more and the marriage becomes troubled. Rose decides to change her appearance by weight loss and fashion and becomes an attractive lady; to others other than her husband. Gregory eventually realizes he, too, wants more. Are they able to save their marriage and find true love? Watch this romantic movie to find out.

Extra thoughts: This is a great "chick flick"; full of romance. This movie has a wonderful soundtrack as well.
