The Mist See It

Main Actor(s)/Actresses: Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden, Laurie Holden, and Nathan Gamble

Memorable Supporting Cast:Andre Braugher and Frances Sternhagen

Plot: After a heavy storm in Maine, David Drayton comes out of his house to find a large tree has fallen on his art studio in his house. He takes his son and his neighbor in to town to get some groceries before the shelves are emptied. Then, the mist descends on the town. Mayhem ensues and people's death screams can be heard from inside the mist. David and his son are inside the grocery store when the warning sirens go off. The store is surrounded by the mist and the people inside barricade themselves inside for safety from the many creatures in the mist who want to kill them. Finally, David and a few others decide to try to escape the store and make it to his vehicle and start driving. Will they be able to get away and survive?

Extra thoughts: The Mist is a really good horror flick. The misdirected Biblical references of the end times by a crazy lady were addressed in the film. There is little feeling of hope in this film which leaves a dark shadow. If you want to get spooked, see The Mist.
