The Nanny Diaries
Main Actor(s)/Actresses: Scarlett Johansson
Memorable Supporting Cast: John Henry Cox, Alicia Keys, Lewis Payton Jr., and Donna Murphy
Plot: Annie (Johansson) is a recent college graduate with a business degree and an interest in anthropology. She doesn't really know who she is or what she really wants to do. She stumbles in to a job as the nanny of a little boy whose parents just don't have time for him. The two become very attached so Annie can't quit like she wants to. Problems arise with her employers and there is conflict with her mother as well. Things finally get too difficult and Annie is forced to leave her job, but before she leaves she makes a video tape using the "nanny cam" she found. The rich mother sees the video and it changes their lives and Annie finds out who she really is.
Extra thoughts: This is a typical movie about a nanny and rich employers. There is a little romance as well. There is nothing unexpected, but it was still a decent film. Most women would like to see it on a rainy day.
