Plot: A young girl, Nim, lives on a South Pacific island with her scientist father. With no other people around it is like a tropical paradise. Alex, a famous author of an adventure series, needs help with her new book she contacts Nim's father for advice, but ends up talking to Nim. Will Nim and Alex be able to help each other with their problems?
Extra thoughts: Nim's Island is a cute family movie. The plot and the cinematography were good. The animals on the island were very cute and enjoyable. Jodie Foster did an excellent job as an agoraphobic author. Nim's Island is a solid family movie and I recommend you see it.
