Plot: In the old south, three prisoners escape a chain gang and are on the run. They are convinced by Clooney’s character that there is a treasure ready for the taking. They get a car from a relative to go on the run, but the car soon breaks down. In order to get money for the repairs they hear they can get money by singing from a guy who would record them. They call themselves the Soggy Bottom Boys and wouldn’t you know it, their song, “ A Man of Constant Sorrows”, becomes a hit and they don’t eve know it. They continue to seek the treasure.
Extra thoughts: T-bone Burnett did the music for this film and it sounds good. The movie was nominated for 2 Oscars. It is an excellent movie.
