Plot: A domesticated grizzly bear named Boog lives with his trainer, Beth. One day, Boog saves the life of a fast-talking deer named Elliot from a hunter named Shaw. Elliot tries to return the favor and set Boog free. The two find trouble in humurous situations as they are both returned to live in the wild. Can Boog survive out of captivity? Will all of the animals survive the hunting season?
Extra thoughts: Open Season was an okay film. Elliot the deer is a funny character. The plot seems to drag on at times, but it has a good message of friendship and belonging. See it if you have time to spare.
