Over the Hedge See It

Main Actor(s)/Actresses: Bruce Willis, Gary Shandling, and William Shatner

Memorable Supporting Cast: Steve Carell and Wanda Sykes, Nick Nolte, Avril Lavigne, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Allison Janney, and Thomas Haden Church.

Plot: RJ the raccoon meets up with a group of woodland animals living in what land is left after suburbia has taken over. Verne, a cautious turtle and leader of the group, does not like RJ and suspects something. RJ shows the animals "over the hedge" where they can find all the food they need, but RJ is using them to gather up food for a hungry bear that is after him. The people in suburbia don't like the animals there and set traps for them. The animals try everything to get the food. This causes a lot of humorous situations. Will they be able to stock pile enough food for their winter hibernation or will they have to survive by other means? What will happen to RJ?

Extra thoughts: This is a very nice family film. It has adventure and humor. The animation is great and the plot is good for a film for younger viewers. Steve Carell does great as Hammy the hyper squirrel. See it.
