Plot: Vivian Ward is a prostitute looking for a “date” when millionaire Edward Lewis drives up, grinding gears in his expensive sports car; totally lost. Vivian is propositioned to drive him to the hotel. Well, Edward gets to the hotel and asks Vivian to stay the night. Then he wants her to be his “companion” for the week. It leads to an awkward, funny romance.
Extra thoughts: This is Julia Roberts’ break-out film. A good date movie with all its unrealistic baggage. It’s worth seeing.
