Plot: Andy Dufresne is accused of killing his wife and her lover. He ends up in prison where he is harassed by a gay man and his gang. He is befriended by Red and builds a strong bond. The guards find out he is a tax whiz and it opens all sorts of possibilities for him; including doing accounting work for the corrupt warden. Will he die an old man in prison or will he get out? See it and find out.
Extra thoughts: This is an excellent film based on the book by Stephen King. It You will enjoy it and I recommend you see it.
