Plot: Bob Lee Swagger and his best friend Donny are snipers for the Marines on a mission in Ethiopia. They are abandoned and Donny gets killed. Bob retires from the Marines there after and recluses himself in the mountains. Three years later he is approached by a supposed government agency to help thwart a sniper assassination attempt on the President, but Bob Lee is being set up. Shots are fired at the President, but an Ethiopian Arch Bishop is killed. Bob Lee Swagger did not shoot. Bob Lee escapes after being shot and is determined to get who set him up.
Extra thoughts: Shooter is a good action movie that holds its own. Mark Wahlberg and Danny Glover do a super job acting in Shooter. Michael Pena and Kate Mara did an even better job. Shootouts, explosions, car chases and some blood make it a complete action movie. See it.
