Plot:A planned escape from Stalag 17 goes wrong and two men are killed. Someone tipped off the Germans but who? Barracks 4 is where the camp thinks the squealer is. Meanwhile Lt. Dunbar is brought into the camp after he blew up an ammunition train. The Germans want the man who blew up the train but they don't know that it was Dunbar....until the snitch tipped the Germans off. Will the Germans get the goods on Dunbar? Will the snitch be found out? Watch it and find out.
Extra thoughts: This one of my top ten World War II movies. This is one of the first WWII prisoner of war movies made. It spawned many more. Robert Strauss as "animal" simply superb. It is a classic and is a must see. See it.
