There’s Something About Mary See It

Main Actor(s)/Actresses:  Carmeron Diaz as Mary, Ben Stiller as Ted, and Matt Dillon as Pat Healy

Memorable supporting cast: W. Earl Brown as Warren, Chris Elliott as Dom, Brett Favre as himself, Lin Shave as Madge, Lee Evans as Tucker, and Harland Williams as the hitchhiker/serial killer

Plot: Ted is the lucky guy who gets to take Mary to the high school prom, but his lucky night turns into a crude debacle.  He tries to contact her years later, but is unsuccessful.  But Pat Healy finds Mary and becomes infatuated with her and tells Ted lies that she is fat with multiple kids.  Ted decides to seek her out anyway.  It’s one laugh after another with this movie.

Extra thoughts: The language and humor of this movie is rough.  The characters in this movie make it fun to watch.  Lee Evans as Tucker is brilliant.

Director: Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly

Year released: 1998

Rated: R

Stars: 4 out of 5
