Plot: A bomb sniffing police beagle causes commotion at city hall. He removes his collar and is immediately captured as a stray. He is taken to a secret lab where a scientist is trying to create the ultimate police dog. While the scientist was trying to give the dog a shot, the dog bolts and hits a shelf full of a secret formula which spills all over him. The dog has a transformation with the formula and becomes a super dog with superior strength, hearing, sight, and speed.
Extra thoughts: Underdog surprised me from the trailers that I saw, I thought it would be a really lame film. The writing and dialogue were above average for a children's movie. Peter Dinklage, who played the evil scientist, was pretty good. Jason Lee, who did the voice for Underdog, was adequate. This is a kids movie and it won't be to painful for an adult to watch either. See it.
