Plot: Bobby Bouchet is the water boy for a Louisiana college football team. Being his shy and backwards self, he draws a lot of ridicule from the quarterback of the team. Bobby finally loses his temper and tackles the quarterback knocking the tar out of him. Bobby is asked to play on the team on defense and that’s where the fun begins.
